Winter SNOW EMERGENCY Policies
As long as a snow removal event exists in any street in the city no vehicle except emergency
vehicles shall park on any street. During snow removal events odd/even parking shall be
suspended until streets are fully plowed and the snow event has been cancelled by city
authorities. Any vehicle in violation shall be deemed a traffic hazard subject to immediate
ticketing and/or towing. The penalty for improperly parking during a snow event shall be
$75.00, and a separate offense shall be deemed committed on each day during or on which a
violation occurs or continues. Residents are also reminded to remove trash and recycling carts
from the street.
