There will be an additional meeting to discuss this matter on February 22nd in the South Beloit High School Auditorium at 7:00pm.
Dear South Beloit Neighbor -
As you may be aware, recently the City of South Beloit entered into an agreement with the State of Illinois Environmental Protection Agency regarding repairs that are necessary to improve Sanitary Sewer service within the City of South Beloit.
As part of that project, several sanitary mains and service laterals in the city must be replaced, including pipes on your street. These repairs, while mandated by the State of Illinois, will require your awareness and, in many cases, your signature on an easement to allow access for the repairs to be made.
A public meeting will be held on February 8th, 2012 at 7:00 pm at the South Beloit High School 245 Prairie Hill Road in the Auditorium to outline the project and how it will affect you. We strongly urge you to attend this meeting so you may ask any questions you may have regarding the project and how it will be funded. Information regarding the project will be accessible on the City of South Beloit website following the public meeting. If you are unable to attend this meeting, inquiries regarding the project can be directed to the City Clerk, Tracy Patrick at 1-815-389-3023.
If you wish to determine if your address/pin number will be affected, please click here.
Sincerely,
Michael M. Duffy
Mayor
